The Calgary Flames have trimmed their roster down a bit more. In his address to the media this afternoon, Flames head coach Glen Gulutzan noted that forward Joseph Cramarossa was absent from practice for a pretty good reason.

Cramarossa, 24, was brought into camp on a professional try-out contract a couple weeks back. The hope was perhaps that he’d bring a bit of physicality and offense to the Flames’ bottom six group.
