In advance of their final road trip prior to the All-Star Break, the Calgary Flames have made a roster move. They’re recalled defenseman Alexander Yelesin from the Stockton Heat of the American Hockey League.

Yelesin, 23, is in his first year of North American hockey after spending his career in Russia. In 29 games for Stockton he has one goal and three assists. This move uses up the last open Flames roster spot – they’re carrying two goalies, eight defensemen and 13 forwards.
