The Flames and Canucks will lock horns tonight at the Saddledome for the second time this week, with the ‘Nucks taking the first contest 4-2.
The Flames trotted out a much more “NHL” lineup in their 4-3 SOL to the Seattle Kraken on Wednesday night and their best players were still their best players. The top two lines produced two of their three goals and the Gaudreau/Mangiapane/Backlund line led all Flames groupings with eight combined SOG. Dan Vladar went the distance for the Flames, stopping 18 of the 21 shots he faced, but you have to think Jacob Markstrom will be getting a look sooner than later.
