The future of the Calgary Flames defense was bolstered considerably this weekend when they acquired established N.H.L.'er Dougie Hamilton, highly ranked prospects Oliver Kylington and Rasmus Andersson, and late round pick Riley Bruce. They still have some holes to fill for the immediate future and are apparently quite serious about filling them with some high level talent. Sources have shown that the Flames have inquired about Cody Franson.
