Flames goaltending coach was ready for action

LOS ANGELES — Jordan Sigalet was sweating.

Because he was a tad nervous.

And because the Calgary Flames goaltending coach had just swapped out of his usual game-night attire and was sitting in the visitors’ quarters at Honda Center in skates, pads, chest protector and the rest of the armour.

“It’s a little bit hotter with all the gear on,” Sigalet said with a smirk.

Most nights, you’ll see Sigalet in a suit and tie.
