It was no big shocker at the 2022 NHL Awards when New York Rangers netminder Igor Shesterkin won the Vezina Trophy as the league’s top goaltender. But finishing second in balloting was Calgary Flames goaltender Jacob Markstrom.

Markstrom received votes from 25 of the NHL’s 32 general managers, who vote for the Vezina.
