CALGARY – Welcome to The Last Chance Cafe, where admittance can be viewed as both a blessing and a curse.
The Winnipeg Jets have finally arrived at the final game of the pre-season and there are still several jobs left to be won – or lost.
When the Jets (2-2-2) hit the ice at Scotiabank Saddledome for a return engagement against the Calgary Flames (4-3), several players will be taking one last shot at showing Paul Maurice and company that they belong.
While the competition remains open, Saturday's results will only be part of the evaluation process.
