The Hockey Hall of Fame announced its induction Class of 2015 this afternoon, naming five players and two builders to its ranks. The 2015 inductions will take place in November, and have a Calgary Flames flavour to them.
Former Flames president Bill Hay and defenseman Phil Housley were both named for induction.
A native of Lumsden, Saskatchewan, Hay is the son of Hockey Hall of Fame inductee Charles Hay, and became a strong NHLer in his own right. Hay played center for the Chicago Blackhawks between 1960 and 1967, winning the Calder Memorial Trophy in 1960 and the Stanley Cup in 1961.
