Flames enjoy rare six-goal period against Coyotes on Saturday

The Calgary Flames became just the third National Hockey League team to score six goals in a period this season during the middle frame of their contest against the Arizona Coyotes on Saturday.

Dillon Dube led the way with a pair of goals during the frantic second period, which saw the Flames outshoot the Coyotes 14–5. Andrew Mangiapane, Matthew Tkachuk, Blake Coleman, and Elias Lindholm also scored for Calgary in the middle 20 minutes.

The Coyotes pulled starting goaltender @Harri Sateri after Dube scored Calgary’s fourth goal just 3:11 into the second period. Sateri stopped all 15 Flames shots he faced in the opening frame but gave up four goals just 2:33 apart at the beginning of the second.
