The Calgary Flames have made some adjustments to their coaching staff heading into next season.
First, they have hired Kirk Muller as an assistant coach. Muller was fired by the Montreal Canadiens earlier this season along with Claude Julien after spending four and a half seasons with the team. He also has previous experience as a head coach with Carolina from 2011-12 to 2013-14.
Next, they have promoted Cail MacLean to an assistant coach role. He was the head coach of Stockton for the past three seasons and follows in the same promotional footsteps as Ryan Huska as Huska coached the Heat prior to MacLean.
