We’re continuing on the high numbers in Flames history that were either occupied by rentals, rookies, call ups or one and done’s with Calgary. The number 48 has only been worn twice in Flames history and it’s not fair to decide which of the two players who’ve worn 48 is better. And it’s not fair because neither wore it very long at all.
Greg Nemisz wins this prestigious award, by playing in 15 total games with Calgary over the course of two seasons. He was drafted by Calgary with the 25th overall pick in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft and even though he was a late first round pick, he never made any significant impact with the Flames.
