Eric Vail was a member of the Atlanta and Calgary Flames from 1973 to 1982 and was a points producing machine during his tenure in the league. For seven consecutive seasons Vail never had a point total under 45 with his best point year coming in 1978-79 where he scored 35 goals and had 48 assists.
