The Calgary Flames have made a second move before the National Hockey League’s trade deadline, and it’s about as minor as their previous one was. The Flames have acquired center Nick Shore from the Ottawa Senators in exchange for a 2019 seventh round pick.

Shore, 25, is a right shot center and a pending restricted free agent on July 1 currently making $925,000. Originally drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in 2011, he played his college hockey for the University of Denver before eventually joining the Kings in the pro ranks.
