After last night's 4-1 loss in Manhattan to the New York Rangers, the Calgary Flames remain in the Empire State - and in New York City - as they cross the East River for their second game in as many nights. This time, the Flames (2-6-0) face off against another tough opponent in the form of the New York Islanders (5-2-1) in their first meeting at Brooklyn's Barclays Center.
With just four of a possible 16 points through the first eight games of their season, the Flames absolutely, positively need some points. And if they can't get points, they absolutely need to have a solid 60 minutes of hockey that they can use as a base to build upon growing forward.
