Sam Bennett just finished up his 3rd pro season and saw his point totals (26) stay the same as they were in 2016-17. The only problem is he played all 82 games this year and that point total is 10 points short of his best point total (36) from 2015-16.
Bennett bounced around the lineup and never really found a permanent/successful home. The Flames have no picks in the first 3 rounds of the draft and they need a few. Is Bennett a piece the Flames could/should move to recoup some of the picks they’ve dealt away?
