Demonstrating a similar attitude to the one he employs in overtime, Johnny Gaudreau would like to get his contract situation resolved sooner rather than later.
“I’d like to get it done quicker,” the Calgary Flames star winger told the Calgary Sun when asked about a pending new deal.
“(Then) you don’t have to worry about it — it’s already finished and you can just get on with your season rather than thinking about it throughout the whole season in terms of when you’re going to sign and all that stuff. It’s something I’d definitely be thinking about in the next couple months and something I will probably be talking to my agent about a lot in the upcoming months here.
