Calgary Flames prospect Dustin Wolf recorded his second shutout in as many days to propel the Stockton Heat to a 2–0 series lead in the best-of-five Pacific Division Final against the Colorado Eagles.
Wolf, 21, stopped all 27 shots he faced on Tuesday as the Heat defeated the Eagles by a 1–0 score. The 6′, 170-lb rookie goaltender improved to 5–0 with a .951 save percentage in the 2022 Calder Cup Playoffs.
As was the case in Game 1 of the series, Justin Kirkland netted the winner — this time, the game’s only goal — on Colorado netminder Justus Annunen.
