Makes you wonder who had to pay for dinner last night in Spain where newest Calgary Flames signee Oliver Kylington is spending time with his friend and mentor Johnny Oduya.
“It’s a family dinner. I’m not buying, and he’s not buying. I think Johnny’s friend is buying — and that’s nice,” Kylington said Wednesday evening. “I think we’re gonna have a chill dinner and just hang out.”
Oduya was among the NHL-wide headliners Wednesday when he inked a two-year, US$7.5-million deal with the Dallas Stars, leaving the Stanley Cup-champion Chicago Blackhawks via free agency.
