As the Calgary Flames emerge from their crazy November, arguably their best player has been recognized by the National Hockey League. Flames goaltender David Rittich has been named the NHL’s second star for the past week.
Rittich stopped 95 of the 101 shots he faced, compiling a 2-0-1 record, 1.94 goals-against average and .941 save percentage in three contests to lift the @NHLFlames to five out of a possible six standings points. #NHLStats pic.twitter.com/vaVJljtspm

The most-used goaltender in the NHL right now, Rittich been superb for the club this season despite getting inconsistent run support.
