City of Chicago prepares for potential Stanley Cup clincher [Video]

CHICAGO - Joel Quenneville doesn’t want to talk about toilet paper.

Not now. Not yet. It’s too early. He doesn’t want to jinx anything.

Twice before, Quenneville’s house and property had been thoroughly papered with bathroom tissue in celebration of Stanley Cup victories.

The first came in 2010 when Quenneville’s Blackhawks beat the Philadelphia Flyers to end a 49-year Cup drought, the second arrived three years later when the Boston Bruins fell victim. In each case, Quenneville found his home strewn with rolls which dangled from his eavestrough, from the trees, everywhere.

So here are the Blackhawks, two years later, getting set Monday to host the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 6 of the Cup final at the United Center, probably the loudest barn in the league.
