Matteo Gennaro had a hot hand for the Calgary Hitmen on Wednesday.
Not only due to his second straight hat trick to lead the Hitmen to a 4-1 win over the visiting Red Deer Rebels, but also because he got in a fight with Adam Musil at the end of the second period.
Gennaro has found the back of the net seven times during his three-game scoring streak and he has put up 14 goals and five assists in his past nine contests.
Jake Kryski also scored for the Hitmen (17-20-6), who pulled into a tie with the Edmonton Oil Kings for fourth place in the Central Division (18-22-4), seven points behind the Rebels (20-19-7).
