Caught red-handed: Swedish player unties opponent's skate

If you can tie up a stick, why not try untying a skate?

A forward in Sweden's second-tier pro hockey league league tried exactly that recently before a face-off outside the opposing team's blueline, quickly reaching for his rival winger's skate lace and tugging it loose.

Oscar Milton, a 21-year-old forward for HockeyAllsvenskan, managed to untie one of Filip Engsundh's skates without removing his glove.

He wasn't sneaky enough to avoid getting two minutes for the move but, hey, we'll give Milton points for creativity.

Ingen utom #17 och IKO spelaren visste varför #17 åkte ut.
