Brett Pollock has played hockey for the majority of his life. He turns 20 on St. Patrick's Day. For the first time in his life, his hockey-playing will see him based out of somewhere other than the Edmonton area.
Prior to the National Hockey League trade deadline, Pollock was likely to begin his first professional training camp in Dallas, Texas. But following the events of Feb. 29, he'll instead be headed for training camp in a rather unexpected place: Calgary. He was traded along with Jyrki Jokipakka and a conditional second round pick in 2016 in exchange for Kris Russell.
