Can Jagr ride the pride to upset in Prague?

PRAGUE, Czech Republic – The way Jakub Voracek began, it was like he was hosing down the populace of Prague.

It was only a few minutes after Jaromir Jagr sent the people into the streets with the winning goal over Finland to make the match against Canada’s 8-0 team with 58-goals scored so far at the IIHF World Championship.

“Why would be Canada frightening for us? They only score 20 goals per game,” said the Czech captain.

“But speaking frankly, we played one of the better games against them. There is no need to be afraid,” he did add.
