The task has been for both Canada and the U.S. to elevate women’s hockey around the world.
What could become a big step in that process — the end to all fans knowing that every event will be a North American finale — will be taken this summer during the Hockey Canada Summer Showcase.
As part of the Under-18 camp being held to develop players from across the country, a further 23 skaters from around the world will be in attendance to help them develop their game.
The same thing goes for 23 others to partake in an American camp.
