Usually, there are two sides or variations to every story.
When it comes to the Dougie Hamilton tale, one side says he was the unfortunate target of a Boston smear campaign that was precipitated by the fact he no longer had any interest in suiting up for the Bruins and was ready to cash in somewhere else as a restricted free agent.
The other side says, perhaps, the anonymous sources that questioned his character, called him “uppity” and blamed him for just about everything outside of throwing crates of tea into the Boston Harbor actually had some truth to them.
