The Regina Pats haven’t done anything the Calgary Hitmen didn’t expect in the first two games of the playoffs.
But knowing what the Pats are going to do doesn’t mean you’ll be able to stop it.
Through two games, the Pats’ dynamic duo of Sam Steel and Adam Brooks have done what they did all regular season, lighting the lamp and helping the CHL’s No. 1-ranked Pats storm out to a 2-0 series lead.
As the first round shifts back to Calgary for Game 3 on Tuesday night (7 p.m., Saddledome), the Hitmen know what they need to do and it doesn’t involve reinventing the wheel.
