Calgary Hitmen blanked in Lethbridge

LETHBRIDGE - The Calgary Hitmen suffered their first loss of the WHL season on Saturday, falling 4-0 to the Lethbridge Hurricanes.

Ryley Lindgren with a pair, Egor Babenko, and Tyler Wong scored for the Hurricanes in the win. Goaltender Stuart Skinner made 34 save to earn the shutout.

Hitmen goaltender Cody Porter made 25 saves in the loss.

The Hurricanes opened the scoring at 14:51 of the first period through Lindgren, who now has four goals on the season. Babenko scored at 3:49 of the second period to give the Hurricanes a 2-0 lead before Lindgren added another before the end of the frame.
