Eighteen goals. Eighteen assists.
Not a bad season for a 19-year-old.
But it was how he arrived at those numbers that shows Calgary Flames rookie Sam Bennett that he still has a lot of growth ahead of him.
After putting up four points in 11 playoff games last spring, Bennett needed nine games to notch his first goal in the fall.
He then went 18 games without a goal from November to January, but then goal-binged eight times in five games, including a magical four-goal outing against the Florida Panthers.
The talented teen then went on another 18-game dry spell.
