Having been put through extra paces, Michael Frolik had a request.
“You guys have to give me a minute,” Frolik said between gasps of air to the assembled media as he arrived to his stall in the Calgary Flames dressing room.
“You guys got time?”
Frolik caught his wind within a few minutes, so the wait was minor.
More importantly, Frolik figures his team will only have to wait another week, or even less, before he’s back from the shoulder injury suffered Dec. 15.
He won’t be in action Monday when the Flames play host to the San Jose Sharks, but on Saturday the right-winger participated in his first practice with the team since suffering his injury.
