At times, though, finding somebody this season to click on right wing alongside top-liners Johnny Gaudreau and Sean Monahan has felt about as fruitful for Calgary Flames head coach Bob Hartley.
“I’ve been looking since the start of the year for the guy to play with those two guys,” Hartley said. “We’ve had quite a few auditions and the results have not been what we’ve been expecting.”
Expect to see Micheal Ferland given his crack when the Flames return to action against the San Jose Sharks on Monday.
