The Calgary Flames off-season has been incredibly busy, but the team have accomplished a lot thus far, finding their new General Manager and their next Head Coach, but in the process, they may have lost one of the most promising young coaches in the NHL. In a surprise to some, the Flames picked Ryan Huska over two-time AHL Coach of the Mitch Love, who now finds himself as an assistant with the Washington Capitals, and now, the Flames have seemingly figured everything out beyond Love’s replacement.
According to General Manager Craig Conroy, fans won’t have to wait much longer to find out who the next coach of the Calgary Wranglers will be, as he has declared a new boss will be named ‘within the next week’.
