The Calgary Flames have landed themselves a reportedly great coach in Ryan Huska to lead the way in 2023-24, and while some fans lament the fact that Mitch Love or an outside hire weren’t the choice, it appears as though everyone around the organization are thrilled with the move to hire the long-time assistant. We haven’t yet heard much from the players, but on Tuesday Rasmus Andersson revealed to Flames beat writer Ryan Dittrick that he’s incredibly happy for Huska, and believes that he can be just the coach this team needs to turn around a disappointing 2022-23 campaign.
