Another day and another signing for the Calgary Flames as they continue to build their roster. On Tuesday the Flames inked 22 year old Alberta native Justin Kirkland to a 1 year, two way deal worth $700k. Kirkland has spent the last two seasons with the Milwaukee Admirals of the AHL, playing in 142 games and racking up 48 points over that time frame. Last season he played in only nine more games than 2017-18, but he saw his point totals go up. In 2018-19 he notched nine goals and 21 assists, which was an nice improvement from his 2017-18 season where he had only seven goals and eleven assists.
