The Calgary Flames are gearing up for a long off-season with plenty of moves to make, and while Elias Lindholm has made it clear he would love to remain in Calgary, one of their other 2024 UFA’s may not feel the same way, as officially revealed by NHL Insider Pierre LeBrun. With one year left on his deal, it now appears that defenceman Noah Hanifin has made it clear to the organization that he will not extend long-term, giving them an opportunity to make a move similar to Matthew Tkachuk a season ago, getting great value in return.
