The Calgary Flames off-season has been busy thus far, and with all the talk about new hirings and the future of the team, some fans may have missed a very fun playoff run by the Calgary Wranglers that unfortunately fell short of a Calder Cup bid. Now, with several players from that run expected to make the full time jump to the NHL (Jakob Pelletier, Dustin Wolf, Walker Deuhr, potentially Connor Zary), the team have begun locking in other pieces, as they’ve already brought back goaltender Oscar Dansk on a one-year, two-way deal.
They’ve now followed that up by re-signing AHL veteran Clark Bishop, who was a solid contributor on this team last year, adding 11 goals and 12 assists for 23 points while playing in 64 games on a team that saw plenty of changes throughout the season.
