Calgary Flames re-sign Jon Gillies to two-year contract

The Calgary Flames finally got the ball rolling on Sunday with their RFAs that needed contracts. Sunday, they started it off with Morgan Klimchuk. Then yesterday, one of the more anticipated signings, they signed Elias Lindholm to a six-year contract. And finally today, they re-signed goaltender Jon Gillies to a two-year contract with an AAV of $750,000.

The first year of the contract will be two ways while the second year will just be a one-way contract. It seems like Brad Treliving has faith that Gillies will turn into that star goaltender they’ve been anticipating he would be.
