Dillon Dube had quite the busy year. First, he participated at the World Junior Summer Showcase for Team Canada in the summer. Following that, he was at training camp with the Calgary Flames and playing in some pre-season games hoping to make the final roster, but unfortunately didn’t make the cut, so he went back to play for the Kelowna Rockets of the WHL.
In December, he was named captain for Team Canada at the World Juniors. He missed the first game of the pre-tournament, played in the second game where he had two goals and an assist in Canada’s dominating 8-1 victory over Switzerland, then was named captain the following day.
