Calgary Flames play host to six-year-old entrepreneur selling hot chocolate to raise money for local charity

Even at six years of age, Haylen Astalos knows the key to a successful business is location, location, location.

As cold as it was outside Sunday, the young entrepreneur/philanthropist could not have found a better place to set up his hot chocolate stand than in the hall leading to the Calgary Flames dressing room.

“Really cool,” said the soft-spoken Astalos when asked about his clientele, which included all his hockey heroes who lined up to buy his product as they came off the ice following practice.

“This is awesome.”

Astalos and his family from Blackfalds, Alberta (ten minutes outside Red Deer) were invited to take in practice after Matt Stajan’s wife Katie learned of the youngster’s charitable endeavours through social media.
