Two additional members of the Calgary Flames will be representing their countries at the 2016 World Cup of Hockey.
Friday’s early wave of roster announcements saw Jyrki Jokipakka named to the Finnish team while Jakub Nakladal joined Flames forward Michael Frolik on the Czech Republic squad.
The initial roster selections in March saw Johnny Gaudreau and Sean Monahan named to the youthful North American team while Frolik, who has competed for his country on several occasions including the 2014 Olympic Games, was also among the early selections.
A native of Tampere, Finland, Jokipakka was acquired by the Flames in the 2016 NHL trade deadline deal which sent defenceman Kris Russell to the Dallas Stars.
