The NHL's arbitrator can scratch this appointment from the daytimer.
The Calgary Flames have reportedly settled with forward Josh Jooris, signing the 25-year-old to a one-year deal that is believed to be worth US$975,000 for the upcoming season.
Jooris was a training-camp surprise last fall and enjoyed a productive rookie campaign at the Saddledome, registering a dozen goals — including four game-winners — and 24 points in 60 games.
The Flames' only remaining arbitration case is with forward Paul Byron. That hearing is scheduled for next Thursday.
