Bob Hartley’s days at the Saddledome are done.
The Calgary Flames announced Tuesday morning that Hartley — their head coach for the past four campaigns — has been relieved of his duties. His associate coach, Jacques Cloutier, is also suddenly unemployed.
Flames GM Brad Treliving will address the media at 10 a.m.
Hartley was the Jack Adams Award winner as the NHL’s coach of the year after leading the Flames to an unlikely playoff berth last season, but they stumbled to a 35-40-7 mark — and a 26th overall finish — this winter.
During his season-end remarks, Hartley insisted that he wasn’t losing sleep over his own future.
