The Calgary Flames win-streak came to an end last night against the Vancouver Canucks in a disappointing 5-3 loss. The Flames outplayed the Canucks for a majority of the game, but unfortunately, the Canucks had the edge in the third period. And the Flames’ special teams became their downfall last night.
They managed to score two powerplay goals and they went 2/4 on the PP, which is great. However, they also let the Canucks go 2/3 on their PP. And they also allowed a short-handed goal against which tied the game at 3-3. That was basically the turning point for the Flames.
