Yesterday the Calgary Flames announced that they have cut their roster down to 40 players. Those players include: Austin Carroll (RW), Josh Healey (LD), Oliver Kylington (LD), Andrew Mangiapane (LW), Adam Ollas Mattsson (LD), Tyler Parsons (G) and Colby Robak (LD) (Calgaryflames.com).
These seven players will be playing with the Flames AHL affiliate, the Stockton Heat. However with Jon Gillies and David Rittich both potentially playing for Stockton, Tyler Parsons may be heading to the Kansas City Mavericks, the Flames ECHL affiliate.
Flames goaltending coach, Jordan Sigalet, hopes this won’t be worrisome for Parsons.
