In a constant series of unfortunate events, the Calgary Flames finally get some good news. First, it was that Micheal Ferland was close to returning and that he would be heading with the team on their upcoming road-trip. Now, it’s that he will be returning tomorrow night against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
The Flames leading scorer Johnny Gaudreau hasn’t had any points in his last four games and leading goal-scorer Sean Monahan hasn’t had any points in his last three. The team is hoping that with the return of Ferland to the lineup and to the top line, it can reignite that line.
