If the fans didn’t hand John Scott the vehicle as NHL all-star game MVP, then Johnny Gaudreau would have.
Upon returning from the NHL All-Star Game festivities in Nashville on Tuesday, Gaudreau admitted he had designs on handing the big lug the $50,000 car even if the Calgary Flames forward won it.
“I’ve got two sisters and a brother, but honestly, I think I might have given it back to John Scott,” said Gaudreau, arguably the all-star tourney’s best player.
“I think he deserves it. We had the same amount of points, and he had more goals, and he had a lot bigger goals than I had.
