First and foremost, Alex Burmistrov misses the NHL game.
That's one of the biggest reasons the versatile forward is back chasing his dream with the Winnipeg Jets.
"I'm really excited," Burmistrov said between sessions at the Jets development camp at MTS Iceplex. "I miss this game."
After spending the past two seasons playing for his hometown team, the Ak-Bars Kazan Snow Leopards, Burmistrov agreed to terms on a two-year deal that carries an average annual value of $1.55 million to return to the Jets.
"It was a big experience playing in my city, there was always family at the games and big pressure," said Burmistrov.
