BOSTON - Left winger Chris Kelly had to be helped off the ice in the opening minutes of Tuesday's Boston Bruins game against the Dallas Stars with what appeared to be a left leg injury.
Kelly was chasing the puck along the board in front of the benches along with Stars centre Colton Sceviour, who was behind Kelly.
Kelly's left leg appeared to have buckled and he remained down on the ice in obvious pain for several minutes before being helped to the bench and then down the runway to the locker room.
There was no immediate announcement from the team.
