The Brooks Bandits made history on Thursday night.
But they did it the hard way.
The Bandits became the first team in Western Canada Cup history to finish the round-robin with a perfect 4-0 record, thanks to a wild 6-4 victory over the host Estevan Bruins.
Jesse Baird and Jesse Pereira had a goal and two assists each as the Bandits capped off their perfect run.
They’ll face the West Kelowna Warriors in the WCC championship game on Saturday night (7 p.m., Q105.7 FM).
The winner earns a berth in the Royal Bank Cup (May 14-22) in Lloydminster.
