Both teams jumped back on the bus Wednesday night.
But it was the Brandon Wheat Kings sitting in the driver’s seat, as they gutted out a 4-2 win over the Rebels in Game 4 at the Red Deer Centrium.
They can win the Eastern Conference crown in Brandon on Friday (6:30 p.m., Shaw TV, 106.7 FM The Drive).
Captain Macoy Erkamps, John Quenneville, Tim McGauley and Tanner Kaspick scored for the Wheat Kings, who have now won eight of their last nine Game 4s.
“I think it was important to bounce back from that first goal that they scored,” Erkamps told Shaw TV.
